Khevsureti is a very remote and interesting region with fortresses, interesting architecure and landscapes while Kazbegi is a must visit place owing to the views on 5000 meter high Mount Kazbegi.
Day 1 - Head from Tbilisi to Roshka village in Khevsureti region and do a hike up to Abudelauri lakes. Hike is of moderate difficulty and the views on lakes are awesome. Overnight at one of the guesthouses in Gudani village. Dinner included.
Day 2 - Head to Shatili village from Gudani. Do the sighsteeing tour of Shatili fortress and after that head to Mutso fotress located in 10 kms from Shatili. Hike up to Mutso fortress and after the hike continue the road Ardoti village if the weather allows. Enjoy the views in Ardoti village and get back to Gudani for overnight stay. Dinner included.
Day 3 - Head to Kazbegi from Khevsureti region. Do several stops on the road in Ananuri, Pasanauri, near so called "Friendship monument" which actually is an occupation one and have lunch at one of the restaurants in or near Kazbegi. Visit Gergeti Trinity church in Kazbegi and enjoy the views on the mountain. Overnight in a hotel in Kazbegi.
Day 4 - drive from Kazbegi to Juta and do a hike towards Chaukhi mountain range. After the hike head back to Kazbegi for lunch and visit Georgian-Russian border in Dariali gorge. Do a small hike up to Gveleti waterfalls and head to the hotel. Ovenight in Kazbegi.
Day 5 - After breakfast head in the direction of Tbilisi. Visit either Truso gorge or ancient capital of Mtskheta with Unesco world hertitage sites.
Price differs according to the number of people. Approximate price for couples 900 Usd per person.
